Feelings are intangible and so is time
You can’t hold space and say “this is mine”
Like galaxies and black holes and other mysteries
this universe contains
You can’t touch the rainbow and you can’t keep the rain
And so what is there beyond the things that are here?
Is it all an illusion, a manifestation of the unclear?
The luxury of taste, the sweetness draping on your tongue
At first bite it’s there but it needs to fade away, it needs to be gone
Like you to me, so vivid, so real
In this place, at this time, you are here
But what comes after the sight bears no guarantee
For now I know that you will always be nothing but intangible to me
